Omega Ministry |
Supporting worldwide missions is the responsibility of every church, and it is the strong right arm of our ministry here in Oshkosh. The support for our missionaries at Wyldewood Baptist Church comes through general giving to missions as well as what we call "Faith Promise" giving. There are 64 missionary families and mission projects currently being supported by our church on a monthly basis. Several others get occasional support.
We have listed our foreign missionaries according to their country or place of service. We also support a number of what are called "home missionaries" and they are listed alphabetically according to the ministry they serve with. Several of our home missionaries are involved full time in Bible publishing and distribution. Those that are sent out from our church have direct links to their own pages on this site.
In addition to our regularly supported mission families, Wyldewood Baptist Church is involved in supporting many national pastors through our Omega Ministry. Funds are provided on a temporary basis (one to two years) to help new pastors. These are primarily on the foreign field. For more information about the Omega Ministry, click here.
