An "A" is just a letter but that letter spells a word,
And that word conveys the meaning that she's precious to the Lord.
So unique in her creation and distinctive in her place,
For the Lord made every lady as the fairest of the race.
And "Woman", too, is special, for the man was all alone,
'Til the Lord provided woman and she made for him a home.
With her beauty and her laughter and her gentle, winsome, way,
She ennobles all that's lovely with that hint of heaven's grace.
And "Sacred" lends the spirit that her life belongs to God,
For the consecrated woman has been purchased by Christ's blood.
She no longer seeks her own will, for she has a Lord to please,
And her every act of virtue must be hallowed on her knees.
And "Mission" best expresses her resolve to do what's right,
For the Sovereign who commands her in the often bitter fight,
To uphold a righteous standard and to reach a world that's lost,
With the gospel of salvation and the message of the cross.
Yes, "A Woman's Sacred Mission!" throughout all eternity,
Is to know her loving Saviour and to serve Him faithfully.
And the "Daughters" who desire to best glorify their Lord,
Will be used in serving others as they minister His word.
