Wings Mission Trips to Cameroon

October 30 - November 15, 2008

January 15 - February 4, 2009

March 22 - April 14, 2010 - STAY TUNED

Wings As Eagles led two mission teams to Cameroon, Africa, to work with Missionary Tom Needham and fellow missionaries in a church planting effort involving medical evangelism. The team members were involved in various ministry opportunities in support of this and other needs on this mission field. Terry Rushing flew the Sportsman (see below) while Brother Needham also flew a Glastar aircraft transporting people and supplies to the bush airstrip and village. Thank you for praying for these gospel ministries!

N211PH Goes to Cameroon

From October 2006 to May 2007, Wings As Eagles helped Missionary Tom Needham build a Glasair Sportsman 2+2 aircraft for his use in reaching the lost in Cameroon, Africa. Due to legal hurdles in Cameroon, Brother Needham was not able to take delivery of the aircraft right away. It took over a year for his Flight Authorization to be renewed. On October 2, 2008, Brother John Douglas took off in N211PH to deliver it to Cameroon. He landed at Brother Needham's home landing strip in Sabga on October 10. A blog was developed to follow the progress of this project. Please visit N211PH Goes to Cameroon to review the flight from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Cameroon, Africa.

View pictures of the preparation of the Sportsman here.

Thank you for your prayers for this mission to reach the lost in Cameroon! We praise the Lord for a safe flight!
