Mr. Clayton is a life long resident of Wisconsin. He was born and raised in Madison, where he received his elementary and high school education. Upon his graduation he attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he received his degree in Secondary Education.
He relocated in 1973 to the Fox Valley where he taught at Appleton East High School. Shortly after he trusted Christ as his personal Savior in September of 1973 he joined Southside Baptist Church of Oshkosh. In 1975 Mr. Clayton surrendered to God's call to the ministry and he was ordained in February of 1977. He and has served as the principal of Wyldewood Christian School since its inception in 1975. Brother Clayton married the former Jackie Nelson (daughter of former pastor Howard Nelson), in 1974 and they have five children. |
