Wyldewood Ministry Development Fund
"Investing for Eternity"
The Wyldewood Ministry Development Fund (WMDF) was established to provide a vehicle for donors to support the ministries of Wyldewood Baptist Church through planned giving, endowments, grants, investments, etc. It is an integral ministry of Wyldewood Baptist Church and its purpose, leadership, and accountability are provided for in the WMDF Establishment Policy, approved by the church on November 29, 2000. Investments and distribution are guided by the WMDF Investment Policy, which was approved by a vote of the congregation on January 24, 2001.
All gifts to the Wyldewood Ministry Development Fund are tax deductible. Donors are encouraged to designate the proceeds from their gifts to one of our established ministries. (Donor Designation Form) The WMDF board then distributes the yield according to our policies, guided by the donor's wishes.
Supports all ongoing local ministries, including youth, bus, music, evangelism, etc.
Grades K-12. Can be used for scholarships, library books, salaries, etc.
Proceeds distributed to all regularly supported mission efforts, both home and abroad.
Our local church print ministry, publishing and distributing Bibles, ministering to churches in America and taking trips to the foreign field - primarily to Mexico, Central and South America, Africa.
Bible distribution ministry to Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
Bible distribution ministry to the Scandinavian countries of Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Aviation ministry, taking pastors and work teams to the mission field. Emphasis is on ministry in evangelism, construction, and humanitarian aid.
Specially designated ministry, primarily supporting trained national pastors on the foreign field.
